Way Volunteer Recognition
For 30 years Sharon Abler has worked with students from Dowling Catholic High School to provide one-on-one coaching to the Special Olympics athletes from Link Associates.
Each year Sharon organizes a group of 90 plus students to help coach Link Associate’s Special Olympic athletes in swimming and track & field. With out Sharon’s dedication to this program Link Associates would not be able to offer this amazing program to so many individuals. The athletes from Link Associates thank you for your many years of dedication to the program!
Alex is a senior at Dowling Catholic High school and has been coaching Special Olympics athletes from Link Associates in track and field since his freshman year. He is an awesome person and an extremely responsible coach who has a caring, compassionate heart and a positive outgoing attitude. The Athletes from Link Associates will miss him after he graduates. Thank You Alex for all of your time and skills shared with Link.
