O'Donnell and Friends Golf Open
How do you find a way to thank a group of
people who give so much to so many. The generosity of
the O'Donnell family and their friends leaves all of us
speechless.
I am so proud to announce that again this year Link
Associates was one of the chosen charities for the 14th
Annual O'Donnell Golf event. As many of you may know, Major
Jim O'Donnell of the Des Moines Police Department is on our
Board of Directors and he has been an advocate and supporter
of us for many years. The O'Donnell family hosts this
incredible fundraising event each year and the proceeds have
been distributed to a variety of community organizations.
This year the proceeds were directed to the Variety Club
with a special designation for one vehicle to be given
to Link Associates. 8 years ago we experienced the
generosity of this event when the O'Donnell's presented us
with $30,000. That was an incredible amount and this
year the number was an unbelievable $62,000.
Not only do we thank the O'Donnell's, but we also thank all
of you who helped support their event.
The O'Donnell's choose Link for a second time largely
because of the strong support and enthusiasm displayed by
our board, staff and consumers. for the family and
their efforts. Because of this event we will be able to
purchase a new 14 passenger Transmaster Shuttle for
Highland. This vehicle is much easier to get in and
out of and allows us to eliminate another of the old 16
passenger vans.
To
everyone who is a part of the O'Donnell Family and Friends
Open - Your dedication and support of Link and our mission
is incredible and your leadership is an inspiration to all
of us. You have made a profound difference in the lives of
so many through your generosity. This company is so blessed
to have you as a supporter and we all have been blessed to
have your group as a mentor to our community.
